Comprehensive Exam

Uses intraoral camera so patient can see. Existing and missing teeth are recorded on computerized chart. Determine need for any necessary radiographs which often consist of panoramic and digital bite wing radiographs. Use microscope at 16x and/or 5x loops. Then do a t-scan (computerized bite force analysis). Basically review with patients to decide best way to proceed.

*If person needs teeth cleaned, have come back for cleaning and finalize treatment plan afterwards.

Dr. Wright’s comprehensive exams include an oral cancer screening, periodontal (gum)examination, orthodontic examination, Caries exam (visual, radiographic and laser technology used to look for cavities at different levels of magnification), and Temporo-Mandibular Joint (TMJ) Dysfunction examination.

Dr. Wrights performs comprehensive exam on all new patients.
